Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

hey,
it's 2am and i just finished a pck marathon on youtube. (quite sad huh)
christmas is coming but i don't really feel the "christmas spirit", nowadays it just seems more blatant how there is the usual mad rush for gifts at the last minute, and the shopping centres are packed with impatient and stressed out shoppers wondering what on earth to get THAT person.
ironically, i'm going to be one of those people later today, which prob means i should sleep soon.
our church over here had its annual christmas carols by candlelight after evening mass last night. it was a pretty nice event - good turnout even though everyone was squished into the parish hall coz it was pouring during the day outside. I met up with jojo and we basically chatted the whole night sitting just outside the hall (so we could still hear the music). She is amazingly easy to talk to despite our age difference.
highlights? - getting battery operated "candles" (choose from two: one has a changing colour flame, and the other flickers lol) obviously we got the changing colour one. duh. - the little kids (ok about 9?) not convinced that Santa Claus is real and trying to guess who it is this time under the suit.
on tuesday we're going w jojo/family and this group (Voice for the Voiceless?) to sing christmas carols to the little kids at PMH (Princess Margaret Hospital) - can't wait! should be fun and rewarding at the same time :)
other than that, looks like a quiet christmas for me! will update again soon.
merry christmas everyone!
(p.s. i want to get/read that Twilight book but then again i know it's some chic romance fiction that cannot happen in real life. but if i read the book obviously i would spend my time fantasizing about living the story. ARGH. i'll let fate take it's place and just see if there is any stock left in Big W tomorrow :p)
